Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 14, 2026
RES™ | Real Estate Intelligence Platform ("RES," "we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect information when you visit rescriptbuilder.com, create or use a RES account, interact with our workspaces or seller-facing links, or otherwise use the REScriptBuilder platform and related services (collectively, the "Services").
If you use the Services for a brokerage, team, or other organization, you may have separate responsibilities to the people whose information you collect or add to RES. This Policy does not replace any privacy notice or permission that you are required to provide to your own clients, prospects, sellers, buyers, or other contacts.
1. Our privacy commitment
RES is designed to help real-estate professionals organize consultation workflows, research information, and client-related activities. We do not sell or rent personal information to advertisers or data brokers for their own marketing purposes.
As of the date above, RES does not use third-party advertising pixels or targeted-advertising tools. We use the analytics provider described below to understand how the Services are used and to improve their performance. If our practices change, we will update this Policy and any required choice tools before using information in the new way.
2. Information we collect
The information we collect depends on how you use the Services.
Account and professional information
When you create or access an account, we may collect your email address, authentication information, account profile information, name, brokerage information, branding details, profile image, and other business information you choose to save.
Workspace, consultation, and participant information
We may collect information you create, upload, store, submit, or receive through a RES workspace or seller-facing link. This can include client, consultation, prospect, seller, buyer, property, workflow, follow-up, and note information, as well as information provided by an invited user or participant. You control the information you choose to add to your workspace and the people with whom you choose to share a workspace or link.
Talk to RES conversations and AI-assisted information
When you use Talk to RES or another applicable AI-assisted feature, we may collect the text of your requests and conversations, prior conversation history, and relevant Workspace context needed to provide the feature. Depending on the feature and context, this may include information that you or an authorized user enter about clients or contacts, such as names, phone numbers, email addresses, property information, notes, concerns, dates, budgets, other Workspace facts, research information, follow-up information, or documents. Not every category of information is used for every AI-assisted request.
Voice and audio information
If you use the voice feature in Talk to RES, we process the raw voice or audio recording that you submit to produce a transcription for the Talk to RES feature. A transcription is text produced from the spoken recording. What a recording contains depends on what you choose to say and may concern clients, contacts, properties, transactions, or other matters.
Uploaded documents and document extraction
If you upload a document for a document-extraction feature, we process the applicable document information to provide that feature. AI-extracted information is subject to the applicable RES review and verification workflow before it becomes verified information in RES.
Research and verification information
RES may generate, organize, or display property research information, source information, verification dates, and evidence context supporting displayed research information. Temporary activity signals---such as viewing information or running a search---are not intended to represent completion of a durable workflow milestone unless the relevant RES workflow state records that milestone.
Payments and transaction information
RES does not currently operate a live checkout or payment-processor integration. If RES later enables paid subscriptions, the payment processor may collect payment and billing information directly, and RES may receive limited transaction information such as plan, amount, billing status, payment confirmation, and refund status. We will update this Policy before enabling live payment processing.
Information collected automatically
When you use the Services, we and our service providers may automatically collect technical and usage information such as browser type, device type, pages viewed, feature interactions, approximate usage timing, session identifiers, referral information, performance data, web-vitals information, and related diagnostic information. This information may be linked to your account after you sign in, as described in the Cookies, Local Storage, Session Storage, and Analytics section below.
3. Cookies, local storage, session storage, and analytics
RES uses browser storage and similar technologies for essential functionality and, where you allow it, optional analytics. A cookie is a small text file placed in your browser. Local storage and session storage are browser-based storage mechanisms that can retain information on your device. They can be used for similar functional or analytics purposes.
Essential or functional storage
The following technologies support core functions, security, sign-in persistence, or preferences. Disabling them may prevent some parts of the Services from working correctly.
| Technology or category | Storage type | Purpose | Typical duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| sb-<project>-auth-token | Local storage | Maintains your signed-in session through Supabase authentication. | Until sign-out, expiry, or removal under the authentication configuration. |
| sidebar_state | First-party cookie | Remembers whether the application sidebar is open or closed. | 7 days. |
| res:* preference keys | Local storage | Saves optional user-interface preferences, including onboarding dismissals, brokerage selection, and activation-roadmap state. | Until you clear browser storage, change the preference, or RES changes the applicable feature. |
| res:pending-prompt and active-jurisdiction | Session storage | Carries a typed prompt or jurisdiction choice between pages within a browser tab. | Cleared when the applicable browser tab is closed. |
| Cookie consent choice (stored via our cookie-consent tool) | Local storage | Records whether you selected "Allow analytics" or "Essential only," so the Services know whether to load optional analytics. | Until you change your choice using the Cookie Preferences control described below. |
Optional analytics and session-replay tools
RES uses PostHog as an analytics service provider. Optional analytics does not load or run until you choose "Allow analytics" through our Cookie Preferences control. Where you have allowed optional analytics, PostHog may use a cookie and local storage with names similar to ph_phc_*_posthog to maintain a distinct identifier, session identifier, and analytics-related properties. RES may use PostHog to record product events, page views, web-vitals/performance information, and feature interactions.
Where allowed, RES may also use PostHog session replay to help diagnose user-experience and technical issues. Session replay is configured to mask inputs and is blocked on /checkout, /billing, /auth/callback, and branding-settings pages. Even with those controls, do not enter highly sensitive information into an optional free-text field unless it is necessary for the Services and you are authorized to provide it.
Where allowed, RES may use PostHog heatmaps on marketing pages to understand aggregate interaction patterns. After you sign in and have allowed analytics, RES may identify analytics activity with your account user ID and related account-level properties so we can understand how signed-in users use the Services.
RES does not currently use payment-related cookies or tracking technologies, consistent with the absence of a live checkout or payment-processor integration described in Section 2.
Your choice: Cookie Preferences
We will not activate optional analytics, session replay, or heatmaps in locations where consent is required until you actively allow them through our Cookie Preferences tool. A "Cookie Preferences" control is available in the footer of every page and reopens the preference banner at any time.
Choosing "Essential only" stops optional analytics recording, opts you out, and resets any analytics identifiers previously stored in your browser. You can withdraw or change your choice at any time using the Cookie Preferences link in the website footer.
Your browser-storage choices
You can generally manage cookies through your browser settings and clear local or session storage using browser controls. Blocking or clearing essential storage may cause sign-in, workspace, or preference features to stop working. Use the Cookie Preferences control described above to manage optional RES analytics; browser controls alone may not stop all existing analytics collection until the relevant opt-out takes effect.
4. How we use information
We use information as reasonably necessary to:
- provide, maintain, and secure the Services;
- create and manage accounts, workspaces, preferences, and authentication sessions;
- support consultation workflows, research, verification, and related features that you choose to use;
- provide Talk to RES, voice transcription, document extraction, scripts, workflow assistance, consultation support, Follow-Up drafts, and other applicable AI-assisted features.
- allow invited users or participants to interact with the features and information that you make available to them;
- respond to inquiries, requests, and support needs;
- understand reliability, performance, feature use, and user experience, where you have allowed analytics;
- detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, security incidents, and violations of our Terms; and
- comply with applicable law, enforce our agreements, and protect the rights, safety, and property of RES, our users, and others.
We do not use your information to make legal, brokerage, appraisal, valuation, credit, employment, insurance, housing, or other high-impact decisions about you.
5. How we disclose information
We may disclose information only as described below or as otherwise permitted or required by law.
| Recipient category | Why information may be disclosed |
|---|---|
| You and people you authorize | To operate your workspace and to enable the sharing, invited-user access, participant interactions, or seller-facing-link functions that you choose to use. |
| Service providers | To host, authenticate, secure, analyze, deliver, support, and maintain the Services on our behalf. Current provider categories include Supabase for authentication and cloud-related services, PostHog for analytics/replay/heatmaps where you have allowed them, and hosting-delivery services associated with Lovable. Providers may process information only as needed to provide services to RES and subject to appropriate contractual or other safeguards. |
| AI processing providers | To provide applicable AI-assisted features, RES sends relevant interaction information and, depending on the feature and context, relevant Workspace context through the Lovable AI Gateway. That information may include conversation text, voice or audio recordings used for transcription, applicable document information, and the contextual data described in this Policy. OpenAI processes certain AI-assisted conversation and voice-transcription functions through the Lovable AI Gateway. For document extraction, applicable document information is sent through the Lovable AI Gateway to OpenRouter, which acts as a separate intermediary, and then to Google for the document-extraction function. Lovable has confirmed that it does not use RES end-user data submitted through RES to train Lovable's AI models. |
| Professional advisers and legal recipients | When reasonably necessary for legal advice, insurance, audits, dispute resolution, compliance, or to respond to valid legal processes. |
| Safety and security recipients | To investigate, prevent, or address fraud, abuse, security issues, or violations of law or our agreements. |
| Business-transfer recipients | In connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar transaction, subject to applicable law. |
We do not sell personal information for money and do not knowingly share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. This statement is based on the configuration described in this Policy; it must be revised before RES adds advertising pixels, retargeting, or similar ad-tech tools.
6. Data retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and preserve legitimate business records. The appropriate period depends on the type of information, why it was collected, the nature of your relationship with RES, and our technical and legal obligations.
For example, account and workspace information may be retained while your account is active; some information may remain for a limited period after deletion or cancellation because of backup, security, fraud-prevention, billing, legal, or dispute-resolution needs. Session-storage information generally clears when the browser tab closes. PostHog product-analytics event data is retained for 1 year under the current Free plan. Session replay recordings, if enabled, are configured to be retained for 30 days. Heatmaps are currently disabled and have no separately displayed retention period in the project settings.
Retention periods may change if our analytics plan or configuration changes. We will update this section to reflect any material changes to these retention settings.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information and limit access to authorized users, personnel, and service providers. No internet service or method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. We will evaluate and respond to suspected security incidents and provide notifications where required by applicable law.
8. Your choices and privacy requests
Depending on where you live and applicable law, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a portable copy of certain personal information associated with your account. You may also have rights to object to or limit certain processing, or to opt out of certain processing where applicable.
To make a privacy request, contact hello@rescriptbuilder.com with the subject line "Privacy Request." Please tell us the email address associated with your RES account and the type of request you are making. We may need to verify your identity and authority before acting on a request. We will respond within the period required by applicable law, subject to lawful exceptions.
If you are a customer using RES to collect information from a client, prospect, seller, buyer, or other participant, requests about that information may need to be directed to you as the customer controlling the workspace or seller-facing link. We will work with our customers as appropriate to address verified requests where RES acts on the customer's instructions.
If you believe that RES has not resolved a privacy request, contact us at hello@rescriptbuilder.com. You may also have the right to complain to a data-protection regulator or other authority, depending on your location.
9. International users
RES may process information in the United States or other countries where RES or its service providers operate. These locations may have data-protection laws that differ from those in your location. If RES targets or expands to markets with additional transfer, representative, legal-basis, or privacy-rights requirements, we will add an appropriate jurisdiction-specific supplement before or as required for that expansion.
10. Children
The Services are intended for adults and professional users and are not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to RES, contact us at hello@rescriptbuilder.com so that we can investigate and take appropriate action.
11. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the Services, our information practices, service providers, or applicable requirements. If we make a material change, we will provide reasonable notice by posting the updated Policy, updating the "Last updated" date, notifying you through the Services or by email, or using another reasonable method. The updated version will be effective on the date stated unless otherwise noted.
